Has your lawmaker taken The Protect Our Schools KY Public Schools Pledge?
Every person running for State House of State Senate has received outreach to ask them to take the pledge. The pledge is below. You can see in the “Pledge Status” column of our tracker if they stand with public schools and have taken the pledge, have declined the pledge, or have ignored the pledge.

I pledge that as a member of the Kentucky General Assembly:
I WILL support a state budget that meaningfully reinvests in Kentucky’s public schools — including an additional $718 million a year, the same amount the state gives up each year to a single half-point cut in the income tax.
I WILL NOT vote for any state budget that cuts, freezes, or fails to increase SEEK and other public school funding enough to regain ground lost to inflation.
I WILL NOT vote for any measure that shifts health insurance costs onto school employees and other state workers.
